Whilst perusing the interweb for interior design inspiration, I usually come across two kinds of interiors: practical solutions and crazy, mind boggling installations. It’s pretty rare for something to tick both boxes, which is exactly what this full-wall library does! What I like about this idea, which unfortunately I wasn’t able to source, is the balance between simplicity and grandeur. The idea is a relatively simple space-saver, but the execution is what makes it. In the picture, the shelves are clearly very ornate and made to a bespoke design, but there’s no reason you can’t do this for yourself on any budget. A few notes: -This looks great on an A-Frame in a loft, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work elsewhere. It would just [&hellip

We were lucky enough to visit Paris’ prestigious Maison & Objet interiors show on Monday. After a torturous 3 30 am start, we made our way, via Le Shuttle, to Paris. The drive was long, but definitely worth it for one of Europe’s most renowned interiors shows. It will take a while before we know whether we’ll be working with any of the brands we saw, but it seems probable. A few notes and takeaways from the show: -It is massive, really massive. We’ve been to a whole host of other interiors shows, but the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre is absolutely titanic. -The standard of exhibitor is exceptionally high, which makes bad designs stick out like a sore thumb. Some of the smaller stands, [&hellip

Liven up the dining table – Chairs + Table = Dining Room. It can be seem pretty formulaic and really restrict your sense of freedom when designing the room. You do need a table and you do need somewhere to sit, but that doesn’t mean you can’t give the dining room your own unique touch. Round tables and benches are great ways to give your dining room something different. If you want a large table, but don’t have the space, then an extending dining table will enable you to seat more when necessary. Just because you sometimes have a lot of guests, doesn’t mean [&hellip
