This week saw the arrival of a full shipping container of our lovely cream leather dining chairs. Unloading 200 chairs can be quite a task, but it’s quite enjoyable with a bit of music! You can see how proud Alex is of his ‘great wall of chairs’ above. Below, you can see Hayward having a well earned break from unloading the chairs (in reality he hardly did anything…). Take a look at Google’s new interior at their Covent Garden Office. Clearly budget wasn’t a problem, but it’s great to see a healthy and relaxing workplace rather than an expensive, yet lifeless office. At 4 Living, we are all about creating a relaxing and enjoyable workspace. As you can imagine, we are big fans of this. The design itself is great as well. There are so many great features in this relaxed work space design. My personal favourite has to be the dining area (below). Small details, such as arranging the tables into an irregular pattern, give the room a really informal feel and seperate it from the regimental style usually associated with offices. The style, texture and size of some pieces of furniture can often be difficult to exhibit in a few photographs. Our oak collection, with it’s nourished grains and light surface, looks great in our website photos and you can get a good sense of what it will be like in the flesh. The depth and and tone of the lacquer in our oriental collection is far more impressive in real life, although the sleek lines and distressed edges look great in photos. We’re keenly awaiting the arrival of a new shipment of these beautiful cream leather dining chairs to our Sussex warehouse. A few months ago we had these great videos made for us which give a great feel for the texture of the cream leather.
