Buying furniture online needn’t cost the earth
4 Living proudly announces that its online shop now runs on 100% renewable energy.
“Understandably, much has been said in the press about the levels of energy that are required to power internet sites and the resulting carbon those processes generate,” said Roger van der Matten, 4 Living md, adding: “That’s why here at 4 Living, in keeping with our ethical stance on sustainability issues, we have succeeded in realising a site that relies solely on renewable energy for its hosting; utilising wind, water and solar power.”

The online retailer has committed to recycling 100% of its packaging and warehouse waste and is promising exciting things to come, with the forthcoming launch of several new collections under its new Eco-Luxury label.

A better way 4 Living
4 Living has completed its move to 100% recyclable packaging across its ranges.
The company, which supplies nationwide and Europe from its East Sussex headquarters, is recognised as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of black lacquered and oriental style furniture. The move to being 100% recyclable also includes 4 Living’s office waste and is a key part in the company’s drive to minimising the impact it has on the environment.
Commenting, 4 Living md Roger van der Matten, said: “Sustainability is a key word in the ethos of 4 Living. We are working hard to combine the design, manufacturing and delivery aspects with informed choices about the types of material and processes we employ, mindful of minimising the impact on the environment at every juncture.”
