What is an Organic Mattress?

An organic mattress is a mattress which has been made with organic certified components wherever possible. Natural latex doesn’t yet have an organic certification, but it differs greatly from synthetic latex. The synthetic latex which you find in petroleum based memory foam is full of potentially harmful chemicals, which at the very least can irritate those with sensitive skin. A huge percentage of the world’s pesticides are used on cotton crops, so every mattress in the 4 Living collection uses only 100% organic certified cotton.

The 4 Living Range of Walnut Furniture

Walnut furniture has been popular since the early 18th century and its popularity shows no sign of waning. We have therefore chosen to market two ranges of walnut furniture, one made of solid walnut and the other, from walnut veneer. The collection of oak beds makes the perfect home for an organic mattress.

Our walnut furniture ranges consist of pieces for the bedroom and the lounge. We offer walnut beds, side tables and dressing tables or consoles as well as wardrobes, chests of drawers and wall mirrors.
